Right of withdrawal notice
CANCELLATION POLICY AND CANCELLATION FORM
Consumers have a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly not be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity:
A) Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (ScandiHooks, Owner: Dominik Siemon, Röhrenstraße 5, 14480 Potsdam, Germany, Telephone: +49 176 64162528, Email: scandihooks@web.de) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached sample cancellation form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value is due to handling them in a way that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.
General information
1) Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us carriage forward.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
